Hibbly Terms & Conditions: Dating Site Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing, or otherwise using Hibbly, you enter into a binding agreement with Hibbly and agree to comply with these dating site terms of service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the service.

You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement under the laws of your jurisdiction. These terms are effective as of September 23, 2026, and apply to every visit and every account created on or after that date. Continued use of Hibbly following any posted update to these terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms, as described further in Section 12.

Hibbly is an adult dating service intended strictly for consenting adults aged 18 years or older. Registration by anyone under the age of 18 is prohibited, and accounts found to belong to a minor will be terminated immediately upon discovery.

By registering, you affirm that the age and personal details on your profile are accurate and that you have not misrepresented your identity to gain access to the service. You are solely responsible for confirming that your use of an adult dating platform is lawful in the location from which you access Hibbly; some jurisdictions restrict or prohibit adult dating services, and it is your responsibility to comply with local law before creating an account. Hibbly reserves the right to request age verification at any time and to suspend access pending confirmation.

Creating a Hibbly account requires you to accept a set of ongoing responsibilities designed to keep the community accurate and accountable. These responsibilities include:

• Truthful information. Profile details, photos, and age must accurately represent you; impersonation or the use of another person's likeness is prohibited.
• One account per person. Duplicate or bulk-created accounts are not permitted.
• Credential confidentiality. You must keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with any third party.
• Prompt notice. You must notify Hibbly promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
• Account activity. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it.
• Offline meetings. Any decision to meet another member in person is made entirely at your own discretion and risk; Hibbly does not arrange, supervise, or guarantee the safety of in-person meetings.

Acceptable use of Hibbly means engaging honestly and respectfully with other members; the practical consequence is that certain categories of conduct are prohibited outright and will result in enforcement action. You agree not to:

1. Create a fake, duplicate, or impersonating profile, or misrepresent your identity, age, or intentions.
2. Harass, threaten, stalk, or otherwise abuse another member through messages, photos, or profile content.
3. Post or transmit hate speech, discriminatory content, or material that promotes violence.
4. Upload, share, or solicit sexual content involving minors in any form; such conduct will be reported to law enforcement.
5. Use Hibbly for commercial solicitation, advertising, spam, or unsolicited promotional messaging.
6. Scrape, harvest, or access Hibbly data through automated tools, bots, or unauthorized scripts.
7. Attempt to circumvent security features, rate limits, or access controls on the platform.
8. Upload malware, viruses, or any code intended to damage or disrupt the service.
9. Share another member's private information, screenshots, or messages without their consent.

Violation of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in content removal, warning, temporary suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at Hibbly's discretion and without prior notice where warranted by the severity of the conduct.

If a match asks you for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, or your financial details, or repeatedly avoids meeting in person or a live video call, treat this as a warning sign and stop responding. Before trusting an unusually polished photo, run a reverse image search to check whether it appears elsewhere online under a different name. Report any suspicious profile to Hibbly immediately using the in-app reporting tool so we can investigate and remove fraudulent accounts, and file a report with the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov if you believe you have encountered a scam. Hibbly is not responsible for losses resulting from a member's voluntary decision to send money or personal financial information to another user.

Hibbly follows a free-to-join structure common across the online dating industry: registration, profile creation, browsing nearby members, and matching are available at no cost. This is sometimes called a "freemium" model, where core functionality remains free while optional paid features may be offered to enhance the experience, such as expanded visibility or additional filters.

Where a paid feature is offered, its terms, including price and billing frequency, will be disclosed to you at the point of purchase, and any recurring subscription will renew automatically until cancelled unless stated otherwise at checkout. You may cancel a paid feature at any time through your account settings or through the platform used to complete the original purchase (such as an app store account). Hibbly does not guarantee that any specific paid feature will be available indefinitely and may modify, add, or discontinue optional features at its discretion, with reasonable notice where practicable.

All content on Hibbly, including the Hibbly name, logo, design, software, and site text, is the property of Hibbly or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. Your account grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use Hibbly for personal, non-commercial dating purposes only.

By uploading a photo, bio, or message to Hibbly, you grant Hibbly a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service, such as showing your profile to other members. You retain ownership of content you upload. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Hibbly site material, branding, or software without prior written permission.

Hibbly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that you will find a match, that any match will be compatible, or that any particular outcome will result from your use of the service. Profile verification measures described on Hibbly reduce, but do not eliminate, the risk of encountering a fake or misleading profile, and Hibbly does not perform criminal background checks on members beyond the account and photo checks explicitly described on the platform.

Hibbly is not responsible for the conduct of any member, whether communicated online or occurring during an in-person meeting arranged through the service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hibbly's total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount, if any, you paid to Hibbly in the twelve months preceding the claim, and Hibbly is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of opportunity, or emotional distress arising from interactions with other members.

Hibbly may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure for Hibbly or other members, or misuse the service in any way described in Section 4. Hibbly also reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable law.

You may delete your own account at any time through your account settings; upon deletion, your profile is removed from active matching, subject to the data retention terms described in the Hibbly Privacy Policy. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution — remain in effect after your account is closed.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before pursuing formal action, you agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting Hibbly support in good faith.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be settled through binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible. You agree that any arbitration or claim will proceed on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to participate in a class, collective, or representative action against Hibbly. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

That policy is incorporated into these terms by reference, and by agreeing to these terms you also agree to the data practices described there.

Hibbly may revise these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements, or industry practice. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be announced through the platform or by email where appropriate. Your continued use of Hibbly after an updated version is posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
